Computer Buying Guide

You do not need to purchase a computer for this course. You can do all of your coursework on the lab machines provided. However, should you want to purchase a laptop, the updated specifications below reflect current hardware recommendations:

ProcessorIntel: Core Ultra 5 / Ultra 7 (or Core i5 / i7, 13th Gen or newer)

Apple: M2, M3, or M4 series

AMD: Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 (7000 series or newer)

RAM16GB (minimum standard for modern workflows) / 32GB

Hard Drive / Storage512GB / 1TB SSD (256GB fills up quickly with system updates and software)
